An
important part of our work is to teach others about the things we
learn. This includes undergraduate and graduate students at Caltech,
but extends far beyond Caltech. For example, we participate in
outreach activities involving visiting high school students and
teachers, as well as talks and lectures at other schools. Outside of
academia we teach courses at conferences and in industry. Finally, we
build prototype implementations of our ideas to demonstrate their
inner workings and allow interested people to play with them.
